Individual/Duo Registration
We offer the opportunity to compete in an individual or duo at competitions for our athletes that have tumbling skills beyond their team level. Ex. If you're on a level 2 team (backhand springs only) but have a back tuck or higher, we want to provide you with the opportunity to showcase the skills you've been working so hard for.
Junior Coaches Program
We believe this program will give athletes a chance to further their talent in the sport and help them grow in their leadership, communication, time management, and organization skills under the mentorship of our trained coaching staff.
Who can apply as a Junior Coach?
Any athlete that is 13 by the start of the 2023-2024 season who has at least one year of competition cheerleading experience with Champion Athletics.
What are the responsibilities of a Junior Coach?
As a Junior Coach your job is to assist the head coach(es) in practices and competitions. These responsibilities may include taking the lead on stretches, spotting stunts, taking attendance, leading prayer, or supporting athletes in learning choreography. In addition, you may be asked to help coaches during competitions (including Nationals). You are also expected to be a role model of Champion behavior. We look to you to promote a positive environment that encourages cooperation and friendship among the program.
-You are required to attend all practices for your assigned team (including choreography). Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to help athletes get lined up for practice. You will be asked to wear your Junior Coach practice shirt to your team’s practice.
-You are expected to arrive early or stay for the performance of your assigned teams (at competition).
-When possible, attend clinics offered for your team.
-Attend Junior Coaches’ training and regular meetings.
-Purchase Junior Coach t-shirt ($20).
